The CGI is a multidisciplinary post-graduate academic institute established in 2005, under the initiative of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol. The aim of CGI is to employ the most recent interactive teaching techniques used in leading educational and research institutions to train students in the program to be effective thinkers and leaders in their fields of expertise, to better serve their countries’ needs towards sustainable development. The CGI is presently offering programs leading to a Post-Graduate diploma and a Master’s degree in Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, and Chemical Biology.
Scholarships are open to eligible  applicants who hold a Bachelor Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 in one of the following fields:
·         Sciences: Chemistry, Biological, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences
·         Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology, Nursing
·         Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
Applicants from other related fields are also welcome to apply.
·         Have at least 2 years work experiences in related field. Applicants with laboratory research experiences will receive favorable consideration
·         Applicants must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably on one of two recognized test of language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS)
·         Applicants must provide a statement of purpose explaining their interests in the study
·         Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health
·         Environmental Toxicology
·         Chemical Biology
The scholarship will cover tuition and other academic fees, round trip airfare, accommodation allowance, monthly stipend, book allowance, health insurance and others.
The award is tenable for a period of 2 years, subject to an annual review of the scholar’s satisfactory progress.
Application Period
Application for the CGI Scholarship Program is due on 15 October 2013. Pre-session orientation program will commence in April 2014 while the academic program will commence in June 2014.

This facility is available in all branches of Habib Bank Ltd. A separate bank Account No. 17427900133401 is being maintained for the purpose.
·         Copy of the attested certificate of academic qualification.
·         Copy of passport.
·         6 photographs.

·         IElTS/ TOEFL score card
·         Statement of Purpose
·         Have at least 2 years’ experience in related  field

Conditions


The call will remain in effect from February 25 to August 30, 2013. The placements may start between March and October 2013.

Scholarships are awarded for placements in the framework of the following programs:

"Improving the Quality of Mexican Institutions and Higher Education

• Only applies to nationals of the countries considered in this call.

• Not residing in Mexico at the time of applying.

• Except in special cases, grants can not begin in November or December.

• The nomination and request for information must be made at the Embassy of Mexico located in the country of origin of the applicant, before the embassy concurrent, or through the receiving Mexican institution. Will only process applications that meet all requirements.

• The documentation and forms must be submitted in Spanish, or possibly due to translation.

• The decision on the applications will be notified through the Embassy of Mexico for and / or by the receiving Mexican institution.

• Scholarships are not transferable or can be deferred to other years.

• The complete original applications must be submitted well in advance. We will not accept applications submitted by fax or email.

• The Directorate General of Educational and Cultural Cooperation perform management and international air ticket purchase, so there will be no refunds in the event that the applicant or recipient institution directly acquire it.

• If the applicant cancels the trip once the ticket has been purchased tickets for the SRE, proceed to ask the person concerned or the institution that ran the payment.

Bolton Scholarship 2013/14

The Bolton 2013 Scholarship is worth £1,200  and may be awarded to any student that is studying a Science, Engineering or Mathematics course (excluding Sport and Psychology related courses) at the University of Bolton.
